| General information |
Kazakhstan Financial Forum (former Kazakhstan Financial Market Congress) has been held since 2006 and is one of the main events dedicated to the financial market of Kazakhstan.
In 2010 the conference is designed as a 2-day event; apart from traditional topics related to securities markets the conference agenda will include sessions covering commodities markets and private equity investments.
A specialized conference "Development of Islamic Finance in the CIS" is scheduled for the second day of the forum.
The conference "Development of Islamic Finance in the CIS" is designed as a pioneering event devoted to development of Islamic finance in the region.
Following questions will be discussed at the conference:
- State policy and financial regulators' activity
- Macroeconomic situation worldwide and in Kazakhstan
- Current state of equity and bond markets in Kazakhstan
- Development of collective investments market in Kazakhstan
- Development of organized commodities market in Kazakhstan
- Private equity and venture capital in Kazakhstan
- Overview of key Islamic finance instruments
- Development of Islamic finance: experience in different countries
- Experience in issuing Islamic instruments in the CIS countries

The conference agenda includes annual ceremonies Investfunds AWARDS and Cbonds AWARDS with nominations for leaders in the Kazakhstan financial market.

| Target audience |
The conference targets representatives of Kazakhstan brokerage firms and asset management companies, banks, pension funds, corporate, government bodies and regulators.
Among the conference delegates there will be representatives of financial institutions from Kazakhstan, Russia, other CIS countries, the Middle East and Asia specializing in Islamic finance, as well as representatives of international agencies for Islamic finance, government bodies of Kazakhstan, Russia and the CIS.

| Participation fee |
Participation fee is $500
(It includes particiaption in conference Development of Islamic Finance in the CIS)
Participation fee for corporate issuers - $400. A 10% early bird discount is available if registering before February 1. Registration of 2 or more representatives of one company entitles to an additional 5% discount. The participants of Kazakhstan Financial Market Congress 2009 also get a 5% discount. Discounts can not be added up. The fee is VAT-exempt.
The fee covers participation in the conference proceedings, a handout package, coffee breaks, lunch. Hotel accommodation is not included.
