Dragon Capital is Ukraine’s leading investment bank offering a comprehensive range of services in equities and fixed income sales, trading and research, investment banking, private equity and asset management to institutional, corporate and private clients. Established in 2000, the company is an independent partnership controlled by management, with a minority stake held by Goldman Sachs.
Dragon Capital accounts for the largest share of turnover on the Ukrainian stock market carrying out approximately a third of reported transactions. The company dominates the Ukrainian debt market as well. Dragon Capital’s DCM team advises leading corporates and banks on raising debt through local bonds, Eurobonds, structured finance and bilateral debt. The company’s fixed-income sales and trading business acts as a market maker in both domestic and international debt instruments trading actively with international and domestic investors.
The company has completed more than 90 deals, including IPOs, private placements, M&A transactions and debt financings, since 2005, raising over $3.0 billion. Dragon’s asset management arm has approximately $0.6 billion under management.
Financial magazine Euromoney named Dragon Capital the Best Equity House in Ukraine in 2002 and 2004-2008. Thomson Reuters Extel and Institutional Investor surveys have recognized Dragon Capital analysts as the leading Ukrainian equity research team in 2007-2009. Financial publication emeafinance named the company the Best Broker in Ukraine in 2010.
Dragon Capital was named Ukraine’s Stock Market Leader-2010 and the Best Online Broker-2010 by the Ukrainian Exchange. The company ranked first in the Cbonds Awards nominations "Best equity research" and "Best equity sales" in 2010 and 2011. |
