Russia's domestic debt denominated in government securities increased 22.27 percent from RUB 1.421 trillion (approx. USD 48.61bn) to RUB 1.740 trillion (approx. USD 59.53bn) in the first ten months of 2009. These figures were indicated in a report prepared by the Finance Ministry's international financial relations, government debt and state financial assets department. In October alone, domestic debt rose 3.8 percent. |
