ING and Gazprombank mandated to lead manage Russian Standard Bank's rouble bond
ING BANK (EURASIA) ZAO and JSB «Gazprombank» (CJSC) have been mandated as joint lead managers of the 5th domestic bond issue of Russian Standard Bank. The bond has a maturity of 5 years and total amount of RUB 5 bn. The issue was registered by the Central Bank of Russia on 22 July 2005.
Primary placement of the issue is scheduled for September 2005. Coupon payments will be executed semi-annually. The coupon rate will be defined at the auction placement. The prospectus envisages bondholders’ put option being executed at one of scheduled coupon payment dates.
JSB «Gazprombank» (CJSC) is acting as the technical underwriter (intermediary at the bonds placement) while ING BANK (EURASIA) ZAO is the international sales co-ordinator. The issuance of CLNs linked to bonds clearable through Euroclear and Clearstream is intended to widen the distribution of the bonds among international investors.
